"Media and Uncertainty" is the topic of the 2020 edition of the Lisbon Winter School for the Study of Communication that each years brings together senior scholars and PhD students to discuss central topics in communication studies. The Winter School takes a global approach to the study of central themes in communication studies. 

The Universidade Católica Portuguesa is organising the 2nd Meeting on Pedagogical Innovation on September 28, from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., in online format. Católica Doctoral School (CADOS) is holding the 2nd Summer Academy of Spirituality (SAS) on 25 June at 10h00.

  On October 28, between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., takes place the Closing Conference of the 30th Anniversary Celebrations of the Centre for Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry (CBQF/ESB/UCP). It will be a special moment where the community will be brought together to listen to a keynote speech by Gunter Pauli, author of the Blue Economy book, and to celebrate together the past achievements, as well as to launch the agenda for the future.

The third Católica Biomedical Research Centre Day, scheduled for June 6, will take place in the Main Auditorium of the Católica Medical School (CMS) of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

The 3rd edition of the Atlantic Conferences will take place on 24 January in Câmara de Lobos, Madeira. The central theme of this edition will be Winston Churchill, Liberal Democracy and the Euro-Atlantic Alliance, and will feature the participation of Katherine Carter, Author, Historian and Curator of Chartwell, Winston Churchill's former home, among other illustrious speakers. 

The 3rd edition of the National Católica Open Day | "Talento para o Futuro" will take place on March 10th, this year in digital format. During this day, it will be possible to visit the virtual stands of our 16 Schools and, starting at 4:30 pm, hear testimonials from students, teachers, Alumni, and employers at the main event.
