João Paulo II University Library welcomes the exhibition "Cáritas Portuguesa: A Journey of Solidarity"
In partnership with the Center for the Study of Religious History (CEHR) and the prestigious charity Cáritas Portuguesa, João Paulo II University Library will host the exhibition "Cáritas Portuguesa: A Journey of Solidarity".
Using documents from the Cáritas Portuguesa Historical Archive, the exhibition shows, through a historical journey, the activities, and contributions of the organization, from its foundation to the present day, both nationally and internationally.
The inauguration of this initiative is scheduled for next Monday, February 5th, at the João Paulo II University Library, starting at 6 pm. Present at the opening will be Rita Valadas, President of Cáritas Portuguesa, Paulo Fontes, Director of the CEHR and Alice Gago, curator of the exhibition.
This documentary exhibit will be open to the public until February 29th, thus giving all those interested the opportunity to visit it.
This event not only honors Cáritas Portuguesa's legacy of solidarity and commitment, but also highlights the vital role that charities play in shaping a fairer and more compassionate world.
Access to the event is free and open to both the academic community and the general public, promoting inclusive access to art and culture.
