Isabel Capeloa Gil takes office on Gulbenkian's Board of Trustees

Isabel Capeloa Gil, President of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, takes office on December 14 on the Board of Trustees of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, where she will assume non-executive position.

The President of UCP is also President of the International Federation of Catholic Universities, a member of the Board of Directors of the European Women Rectors Association (EWORA), of the Board of Trustees of Europaeum, of the Advisory Council of the Board of Edmond de Rothschild and of the Board of Directors of AmCham (Portugal). Since 2017, she has been a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations and also serving as a Vatican Dicastery Consultant on Education and Culture since 2022.

The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation's Board of Trustees, chaired by António Feijó, is now made up of executive directors Martin Essayan, Guilherme d'Oliveira Martins, António Cruz Serra and Cristina Casalinho, as well as non-executive directors Graça Andresen Guimarães, Pedro Norton, Jorge Vasconcelos and Isabel Capeloa Gil.
