Católica launches scholarships for 1st year students with greater academic progress

The call for merit scholarships for students enrolled in the 1st year for the first time under UCP4SUCCESS is now open.

The aim of this initiative is to recognise and reward the effort and academic progress of students enrolled in the 1st year, for the first time, through the general access regime, in Bachelor's and Integrated Master's degree courses at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, who have earned at least 30 ECTS in the curricular units of the semester in question and who have not taken any appeal or improvement exams.

The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of two criteria: academic merit, assessed by the difference between the student's Higher Education application grade and the final average of the semester in which the student is applying (70%), and the student's socio-economic condition (30%).

Applications for the UCP4SUCCESS Scholarships take place in two separate periods: the first, relating to the results achieved in the 1st semester, is open until June 23 2025; the second, relating to the 2nd semester, runs from 17 June to 31 July 2025.

To apply students must fill out the form.
