Católica joins forces with Cáritas Diocesana de Lisboa to support families and communities affected by Storm Kristin
The Universidade Católica Portuguesa has joined forces with Cáritas Diocesana de Lisboa in a Solidarity Campaign to support families and communities affected by Storm Kristin.
Between 2 and 5 February, non-perishable food and hygiene products will be collected. Donations can be delivered to the Social Responsibility Office on the 5th floor of the João Paulo II Library Building or to the Chapel of Saint Mary, seat of Wisdom.
These donations will be delivered to Cáritas Diocesana de Lisboa, which, in conjunction with Cáritas Diocesana de Leiria, will distribute them on the ground.
How can you help?
Donation of goods:
- Non-perishable food: rice, pasta, olive oil, cooking oil, tinned food (tuna, sausages, legumes), milk, baby food, biscuits and cereals.
- Hygiene products: shampoo, soap, shower gel, nappies, wipes, oral hygiene products and feminine hygiene products.
- Gas camping stove + gas cartridge.
Financial donation:
If you prefer, you can also contribute by making a monetary donation directly to Cáritas Diocesana de Leiria.
Financial contributions are channelled through the Social Emergency Fund, created to support the reconstruction of homes and lives affected.
