Scopus is a database of metadata and citations of publications with peer review, such as scientific journals, books and congress minutes. It provides a comprehensive view of international scientific production in the areas of technology, medicine, social sciences or arts and humanities. This resource presents advanced tools for research, analysis and visualization of results. Through the index of citations it is also possible to analyze the number of citations of publications or authors.

In order to optimize the use of Scopus, the UCP Libraries recommend consulting the tutorials available here.
