Science Café "Keep the Church in the Village”

On 4 September, from 11 a.mm. to 1 p.m., the Estonian Academy of Arts will host a Transform4Europe Science Café ‘Keep the Church in the Village’ at the Narva Art Residency (NART), as part of the Station Narva festival. The discussion will explore how the roles of religious and industrial buildings are evolving in contemporary Europe, and features the participation of Alexandre Palma, Professor at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Auxiliary Bishop of the Patriarchate of Lisbon (Portugal)
Brigitta Davidjants, musicologist and journalist, The Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, and Marko Uibu – Professor of Social Innovation, University of Tartu, are also speakers at this roundtable, moderated by Gregor Taul, art historian and semiotician, Estonian Academy of Arts.
