The third masterclass with the Alumni Hub FCH label will take place on Wednesday, 26 November, at 6:30 p.m.

The Dynamic Brain: The Science of Neuroplasticity

This masterclass explores the extraordinary ability of the human brain to adapt and change throughout life. Using scientific evidence, it takes a journey from childhood to adulthood, understanding how experiences, learning, and contexts continually shape the brain. Ways to enhance this plasticity will be discussed, as well as the biological mechanisms that sustain it. The message is clear: the brain retains the power to adapt and learn.

The orientation is led by Beatriz Villas Bôas ('22), who holds a degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Human Sciences and a Master's in Neuropsychology from the Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing, both from the Portuguese Catholic University. She is currently part of the UCP4SUCCESS project team at FCH-Católica as a Junior Psychologist, having previously interned at the Alcoitão Medicine and Rehabilitation Centre in the context of neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation.

All Psychology students and alumni are invited to participate.
