IV Meeting on the Morphosyntax of LGP and other sign languages

The Faculty of Health Sciences and Nursing, the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Health of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), the Linguistics Centre of the Universidade do Porto (CLUP), the Centre for Research and Innovation in Education (inED) of the Escola Superior de Educação do Politécnico do Porto (ESE/IPP) are organising the IV Meeting on the Morphosyntax of LGP and other sign languages (LGPMSyntax-2023).

The meeting will be held in Porto on 16 and 17 November 2023, at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto and the School of Education of the Polytechnic of Porto.

Guest speakers:

• Beppie van den Bogaerde (University of Amsterdam / Hogeschool Utrecht)
• Josep Quer (Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona)
• Sandra Nascimento (Universidade de Brasília)  

The languages of the meeting will be English, Portuguese and LGP.

It is the Organising Committee's intention to have translators-interpreters from Portuguese and English into LGP and vice versa.
