COTEC Innovation Summit 2021

The COTEC Innovation Summit 2021 will take place between 14 and 16 July 2021, starting at 09:30 a.m., an event organised by COTEC Portugal, the leading Portuguese business association for the promotion of innovation and business technology cooperation. 

The conference is held annually and is attended by distinguished guests who share knowledge in the area of business innovation. This meeting brings together entrepreneurs, managers, senior executives and national and international policy makers.

The conference features more than 20 debate panels, fireside chats and technological experimentation sessions, which will address, among others, the following topics:

• European industrial ecosystems, recovery pathways and twin transitions;
• Business and innovation ecosystems: thinking beyond industrial boundaries;
• Risk management and industrial property protection;
• Investment in clean and smart technology;
• Decarbonisation of energy-intensive industries;
• Boosting collaboration between large companies and SMEs in innovation ecosystems.

The Vice-Rector of UCP, Margarida Mano, will be moderator of the panel "Green Tech Investment: anticipating where the money will be? A VC perspective", which will take place on July 15, at 10:45 a.m.

Professors João Pinto, from Católica Porto Business School and Ricardo Reis, from Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics will be speakers at the session "Financing an Innovation Portfolio" on July 15th at 02:00 p.m.
