Mental Health Literacy and Psychological First Aid Workshop Cycle
- All Católica students
- Acquiring psychological first aid strategies: self-help strategies and first aid skills
How to start? And how to maintain it? Do I need to be “good at psychology” to offer first aid? - Identifying signs and symptoms of mental health problems as early as possible
Am I in need of help? - Seeking help from a colleague, friend, family member, psychologist, family doctor, or psychiatrist as early as possible
Is what I’m feeling enough to seek psychological support?

- Reset Your Anxiety: Learn to reprogram your mindset
- Freeze or Fight? Psychological first aid for panic attacks
- Ghost the Blue Mondays: We all have tough days, and there are ways to handle them better
2nd semester 2024/2025
- These are not lectures
- Each workshop provides concrete strategies
- Participants receive certificates (attendance or training, depending on enrollment)
Soft Skills Development Curricular Unit
- 1st-year undergraduate students (and 1st-year integrated master’s students)
- To develop essential soft skills for handling the challenges of this new life phase
- How can I improve my ability to handle university life and my future professional career?
- Understand and identify emotions and thoughts for better emotional, cognitive, and behavioral management
- Is it important to understand what I’m feeling? How can I manage my emotions more effectively in daily life?
- Build healthy relationships with others
- How can I communicate more clearly and effectively? How can I improve conflict resolution with colleagues or professors?
- Make important life decisions thoughtfully and with awareness
- How can I think and reflect critically? What strategies can I use to anticipate the consequences of my decisions?
- This is not group psychotherapy!
- It is an opportunity to develop soft skills
- It is a safe and respectful space for personal growth
