Universidade Católica Portuguesa integra a rede EUROPAEUM

No último dia 9 de abril foi assinado o protocolo que formaliza a integração da Universidade Católica Portuguesa na Rede EUROPAEUM.

Esta cerimónia contou com a presença da Reitora da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Prof.ª Doutora Isabel Capeloa Gil, do Diretor do Instituto de Estudos Políticos, Prof. Doutor João Carlos Espada, e do Diretor da rede EUROPAEUM, Dr. Hartmut Mayer.

A rede Europaeum foi fundada em 1992, por George Weidenfeld, Ronald Grierson e RoyJenkins, antigo Chanceler da Universidade de Oxford e o primeiro Presidente da Comissão Europeia, para servir como uma “universidade internacional sem paredes”, em que futuros investigadores e líderes europeus partilham conhecimento e desafios comuns, promovendo a excelência na investigação e ensino, através de uma rede de trabalho que apoia e promove os Estudos Europeus.

Reúne 16 das melhores universidades da Europa, entre outras, as Univ. Bolonha, Univ. Paris (Panthéon - Sorbonne), Univ. Oxford, Univ. Jagellonian, Univ. Karlova, Univ. St. Andrews, Universidade Católica de Louvaina, Univ. Complutense de Madrid, Univ. Ludwig Maximilian de Munique, Univ. Helsínquia, FU Berlim, Univ. Pompeu Fabra, Univ. Luxemburgo e o Geneva Institute of International Studies.

Esta integração nasceu de uma relação com o Instituto de Estudos Políticos da UCP, que foi membro associado ao longo dos últimos 10 anos, estendendo a toda a Universidade o estatuto de full member.

Presentation of the Project "Campus Veritati" of UCP
On November 28th the project authored by the architect João Luís Carrilho da Graça. The Campus Veritati, composed by two buildings, will be located in the northern part of the current UCP Campus in Lisbon and will host new Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics facilities and a Multifunctional Conference Centre, a central space that promotes the connection between UCP and the Community.
