UCP2 Mental Health and UCP4 SUCCESS join forces to promote student wellbeing

On 4 November, UCP2 Mental Health and UCP4 SUCCESS joined forces to host the webinar "Mental Health and Academic Well-being" aimed at student mentors from UCP4MENTOR – Peer Mentoring Programme.

As part of the mentor training and capacity building programme, this module aimed to deepen knowledge about mental health, enable mentors to identify warning signs and be better prepared for the challenges of higher education, contributing to the promotion of academic well-being and raising awareness of the resources and initiatives available under UCP2 Mental Health

The webinar provided a space for practical learning and sharing, addressing peer support strategies and guidelines for responsible referral, reinforcing the importance of distinguishing the role of the mentor from the interventions carried out by professionals.

The partnership between UCP2 Mental Health and UCP4 SUCCESS represents another step in consolidating a collaborative network dedicated to student success, mental health, and well-being, reinforcing the Universidade Católica Portuguesa's commitment to promoting a true culture of care and well-being for its students.
