UCP Theology journals in the spotlight: past, present and future

On the day that marks the four-year anniversary of the launch of the UCP's Scientific Journals Portal and the full digitization of the previous theology journals of the various Regional Centers: Didaskalia (Lisbon), Theologica (Braga) and Humanística e Teologia (Porto), the João Paulo II University Library is holding a round table entitled "Theology journals in the spotlight: past, present and future".

The aim of this initiative is to promote debate around the University's theology journals, starting with their digitization and consequent availability in open access, through a historical and individual view of each journal, based on a perspective of the past, present and future challenges.

To this end, the round table will include the participation of Prof. Dr. Peter Hanenberg (Vice-Rector for Research, Library and Innovation), Prof. Dr. João Duque (Director of the journal Ephata - Revista Portuguesa de Teologia and President of the Braga Regional Center), Prof. Dr. Paulo Fontes (Director of the Center of Religious History Studies) and Dr. Anabela Antunes (Director of UCP Editora and Bookstore).

The session will take place on January 23rd, at 4pm, in the Training Room of the João Paulo II University Library.

Access to the event is free and open to both the academic community and the general public, promoting inclusive access to art and culture, and is subject only to the room's capacity.
