Open Applications for Rodrigo Guimarães Scholarship

Instituto Rodrigo Guimarães and Universidade Católica Portuguesa have renewed the Rodrigo Guimarães Scholarship programme with the aim of supporting students with special characteristics of initiative, motivation and commitment, who are also economically disadvantaged, thus investing in training and capitalizing on young talent.

The Rodrigo Guimarães Scholarships are aimed at students at the Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa who are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Economics or Management, demonstrate their economic disadvantage and have the skills and commitment to make a difference as professionals and citizens of a global community.

The scholarship programme is part of the promotion and promotion of educational and social measures and actions of the Instituto Rodrigo Guimarães, created in 2022 by the relatives of the missing Rodrigo Guimarães and his long-time friend Elizabeth Rothfield.

Rodrigo Guimarães was a successful entrepreneur, with a keen sense of justice. With the Instituto Rodrigo Guimarães wishing to perpetuate his name and work, it aims to open up horizons for students who need it most and who have the will to go further.

The program began last academic year and applications are now open for Bachelor's and Master's Scholarships for 2023/24. Students can apply until December 30, 2023 and should read the Undergraduate Scholarship Regulations and the Master's Scholarship Regulations.

To apply for the scholarship, in addition to documentation proving their economic situation, students are also asked to send a video presentation explaining what led them to choose the area of management or economics, what they expect from the Bachelor's or Master's degree and how they want to give back to society by obtaining this support.
