National Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year 2025-2026 and Graduation Ceremony

On 13 October, at 4:00 p.m., the National Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year 2025-2026 and the Graduation Ceremony will take place at the Porto Campus. 

The ceremony will feature an address by the President, Isabel Capeloa Gil, and the participation of Raquel Seabra, an alumna of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, who will speak to the recent graduates and to the University’s students.

This will be followed by the blessing of the diplomas by His Most Reverend Excellency, the Bishop of Porto, D. Manuel Linda, offered to the representatives of Católica’s programmes who completed their studies in the academic year 2024-2025.

The UCP/Caixa Geral de Depósitos Awards, the Teaching Innovation Awards, the UCP4SUCCESS Scholarship, as well as the commemorative medals for 25 and 40 years of service, will also be presented to faculty members.

The session will conclude under the presidency of His Most Reverend Excellency, the Bishop of Porto, D. Manuel Linda.
