The Lisbon MBA Católica|Nova rises in the Global Top 20 Ranking

The Lisbon MBA Católica|Nova has once again risen in the Global Ranking, now holding the 17th place in QS 2025 Ranking. This reaffirms its prominent position in the Top 20 of the world’s best MBA’s programs.

According to the QS Executive 2025 Ranking, The Lisbon MBA Católica|Nova Executive has climbed two positions compared to the previous year, ranking among the top 17 MBA programs worldwide in the “Joint Programmes” category. This rise reflects the program’s academic excellence and rigour, the expansion of international partnerships, the diverse experience and backgrounds of its students, as well as the strengthening of networking and employability opportunities, among other factors.

The rise in the QS Executive MBA 2025 Ranking and the program’s strong performance across key indicators, such as student profile, post-MBA career advancement, and employer reputation, highlight the achievement and reinforce The Lisbon MBA Católica|Nova’s distinguished position in this ranking. Noteworthy among the class profile are the diversity of nationalities and the solid professional background of participants, who average 15 years of work experience. Other evaluated indicators, such as academic excellence, which placed 19th globally, further demonstrate the program’s quality and its consistent ranking among the world’s top 20 across all assessed criteria.

The Lisbon MBA Católica|Nova International program has also solidified its position in the QS Global MBA 2025 Ranking, placing in the Top 40 of European MBA programs. Key criteria contributing to this result include academic excellence, diversity (approximately 70% of students come from international backgrounds and 50% are women) and the successful career trajectories of graduates. Three years after completing the program, alumni report an average salary increase of +89%.

According to Maria José Amich, Executive Director of The Lisbon MBA, “It is with great pride that we once again see our programs recognized among the best in the world. This acknowledgment reflects the innovative capacity and unique positioning of our MBAs, which bring together three prestigious business schools, CATÓLICA-LISBON, Nova SBE, and MIT Sloan, and enable us to offer programs marked by the academic rigor and excellence that define these institutions. Our strong performance in these rankings reinforces our ability to attract top talent and to empower our students to become future leaders who create meaningful impact in society. The holistic nature of our MBAs, with a focus on developing both technical management and leadership skills, an entrepreneurial mindset through our action learning approach, and the expansion of our international partnerships, which allow students to strengthen their global MBA experience, all highlight the reach and prestige of our programs in the MBA landscape.”
