João Paulo II University Library hosts “Us, with Europe” exhibition

The João Paulo II University Library oeganizes the exhibition “Us, with Europe”, an exhibition, open to the entire community, that will be open from May 9th to 30th.

This exhibition, which opened in October 2024, is an initiative of the AACEP - Academic Association of Economic and Political Sciences, under the coordination of its leaders Guilherme Lidon Guerra and Gonçalo Osório de Castro. The itinerant exhibition was curated by Professor Alice Cunha and supported by the Commission for the Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of April 25th and the European Commission Representation in Portugal.

RIBO - Rede Intermunicipal de Bibliotecas do Oeste, in partnership with Centro EUROPE DIRECT Oeste, Lezíria e Médio Tejo, decided to reissue the exhibition “Us, with Europe” to mark two important historical milestones: the 50th anniversary of the April Revolution and the 40th anniversary since Portugal joined the European Union, thus reinforcing the dissemination and reflection of these events among the public.

The exhibition is open to the university community and the general public, ensuring free and inclusive access to culture and knowledge.
