ICS and FCH produce the e-book Guide to good practice in online teaching for deaf students in pandemics
Instituto de Ciências da Saúde and Faculdade de Ciências Humanas da Universidade Católica Portuguesa produce the e-book "Guide to good practices in online teaching in an emergency context for deaf students during the COVID- 19 pandemic" at the request of the Ministry of Education/General Directorate of Education.
In the context of the suspension of teaching and training activities in schools as a consequence of the contingency rules for the COVID-19 pandemic, this guide was requested directly by the General Directorate of Education (Ministry of Education) with the intention of contributing to a better adequacy of teaching and learning materials and strategies for deaf students.
This document is presented as a guide to assist teachers of deaf students and LGP interpreters by suggesting guidelines for adaptation and creation of materials, and for the practice of teaching and learning contexts in virtual environments, in the situation of pandemic COVID-19 disease.
