Delegation from the Faculty of Dental Medicine of Católica visits Boston University

A delegation from the Faculty of Dental Medicine (FMD), Universidade Católica, composed by its Dean, Marlene Barros, the Director of the University Dental Clinic, Anna Moura, the Director of the Postgraduate Course in Digital Prosthetic Oral Rehabilitation, André Correia, and Patrícia Fonseca, member of the Board of Directors, visited Boston University - Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, in the USA, from 3 to 4 April.

The programme for this visit, organised by Michelle Henshaw, Assistant Dean of Boston University School of Dental Medicine, was hosted by a group of lecturers led by Cataldo Leone, Dean of the same institution.

They were days of sharing experiences with the aim of contributing to the establishment of the best practices regarding the integration of digital technologies in the teaching of Dental Medicine at the FMD.

The renovation of the Dental Clinic and the simulation laboratories for pre-clinical teaching and the creation of the Post-Graduation Studio will allow the consolidation of teaching strategies supported by digital technologies and with application to all levels of education.
