Católica resumes progressively on-site activity of services

On 15 June, the Universidade Católica Portuguesa began the third phase of its phased reactivation plan, which aims to gradually resume the on-site work of the University's professors and employees. The planning carried out ensured the implementation of daily measures and practices for the safety and protection of the entire academic community present in the four campi of the University: Lisbon, Porto, Braga and Viseu.

The reinforcement of alcohol gel dispensers and acrylic separators in the public service counters should be highlighted. The sanitary facilities continue to provide liquid soap dispensers that have disinfectant product. The frequency of cleaning of the spaces has been increased, as well as of the most sensitive elements such as taps, knobs, switches and buttons, using the appropriate sanitizing products. Posters were displayed throughout the University, with signs and the recommended behaviours, so that the necessary safety and protection procedures, fundamental for the success of this phase, could be implemented.

The measures outlined in this plan will be subject to constant evaluation/updating, resulting from the evolution of the national pandemic situation and the recommendations of the competent authorities, in particular the DGS.
