Católica Porto Business School brings to Portugal the Business+Career program | Walking Mentorship

An experience designed as a personal compass to navigate the challenging waters of today's world without losing your way to a better version of yourself. This is the motto of the Business+Career program of Walking Mentorship.

On the 20th of November, Católica Porto Business School brings for the first time to Portugal, the Business+Career program | Walking Mentorship, by João Perre Viana, Teacher at the School.  Consisting of a mix of individual mentoring sessions and peer-mentoring in small groups, always walking and always outdoors, each participant will go to a manual called Survival Kit, where he will find the guidelines for each exercise and the space to register his thoughts.

The methodology has four different moments:

Me: An investigation about the current individual moment, updating the map of reality.
The World: Gain perspective by creating a personal inventory of opportunities.
Purpose: Review your purpose and align it with the main challenges.
Action: Create an action plan that fits within a limited period of time.

The core of the program is focused on the individual, but the group experience will broaden the discussion and be critical to accessing different perspectives. The program begins with an individual session to align expectations and focus on goal setting. And it ends one week after the face-to-face walking session with a new mentoring session for feedback and validation of the individual action plan.

Between the two individual (remote) mentoring sessions you will have two days of walking combined with peer-mentoring. During the face-to-face walk, each participant will also have an individual session with the program's mentor, João Perre Viana, responsible for the same course at EADA in Barcelona and the Catholic University of Ukraine.

The participants will alternate in pairs throughout the different exercises, taking time to think, write and write down ideas and thoughts. There are no specific requirements in terms of experience to participate in this course, however, a genuine interest in learning how to turn personal and business challenges into opportunities is fundamental to progress throughout the program.
