CATÓLICA LISBON and CATÓLICA PORTO BUSINESS SCHOOL among the best Business Schools in Europe, according to the Financial Times

CATÓLICA-LISBON is the 22nd best European Business School, maintaining last year's position, according to the Financial Times Ranking. This is the best position ever for the Universidade Católica, with CATÓLICA-LISBON consolidating its position, and Católica Porto Business School entering the ranking for the first time.

This 2024 ranking represents an aggregation of the rankings for Masters in Management, Executive Education and MBA Programs, so the extraordinary result reflects CATÓLICA-LISBON's global leadership in all these areas.

For the first time, Católica Porto Business School is also included in the ranking. “The inclusion of Católica Porto Business School in this prestigious ranking is recognition of all the work we have been doing to strengthen our training offer and international executive courses, but also the quality of the partnerships that allow us to leverage the excellence of our Faculty" says João Pinto, Dean of Católica Porto Business School, adding “we have also made a big commitment to attracting talent and linking teaching, research and innovation.”

Filipe Santos, Dean of CLSBE, says: “This success is a testament to the talent and dedication of our students, alumni, faculty and staff. Congratulations also to our sister school, Católica Porto Business School, for joining the ranking of Europe's Best Business Schools. In addition, congratulations to our University, which is celebrating not only having two business schools among the best in Europe, but also being recognized as Portugal's Most Entrepreneurial University by Start-up Portugal at the Web Summit.”

“Portugal is also to be congratulated in this ranking, since having six recognized business schools should be a source of satisfaction for all Portuguese and a sign of the quality of management training in Portugal. CATÓLICA-LISBON is proud to have been a pioneer and leader in this process of internationalizing business schools,” he concludes.

The Financial Times European Business Schools Ranking evaluates the 100 best European Business Schools every year, focusing on the excellence of their Master's, Executive Training and MBA programs.
