Católica assina protocolo entre a Universidade dos Açores e a Diocese de Angra no âmbito do projeto DIO 500

Last March 10, 2023, in the Noble Hall of the Rectory of the Universidade dos Açores (UAc), in Ponta Delgada, the Director of the Centre for Religious History Studies of The Universidade Católica Portuguesa UCP-CEHR),Paulo Fontes, was one of the signatories of the protocol signed between the UCP-CEHR, the Instituto Católico de Cultura of the Diocese of Angra and the CHAM - Centro de Humanidades of the Universidade dos Açores. 

This protocol signed between the mentioned institutions aims at the cooperation of the three institutions "within the scope of the research project 'DIO 500', dedicated to the historical and patrimonial research of the Diocese of Angra, within the commemorations of the 500 years of this Diocese (1534-2034)". This project will culminate in the elaboration of a digital platform dedicated to the history of the diocese of Angra and the edition of the work 'Religious History of the Azores' in 2034.

This ceremony was also attended by His Excellency D. Armando Esteves Domingues, Bishop of Angra.

Presentation of the Project "Campus Veritati" of UCP
On November 28th the project authored by the architect João Luís Carrilho da Graça. The Campus Veritati, composed by two buildings, will be located in the northern part of the current UCP Campus in Lisbon and will host new Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics facilities and a Multifunctional Conference Centre, a central space that promotes the connection between UCP and the Community.
