Campus 2030 Challenge

What will the universities be like in 2030? Students, professors and researchers have the opportunity to imagine the sustainable campi of the future at the Campus 2030 Challenge, an international competition organized by Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), United Nations Regional Information Centre (UNRIC) and Agorize, in parternship with UNESCO.

Candidates must submit proposals on the four main themes: student living standards, the campus in the city, new educational issues, and digital on the campus. Projects must meet at least 3 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

To join the group of contestants of the Campus 2030 Challenge you need to form a team with 2 to 5 members and submit, by February 16, 2020, a presentation with 5 slides to contextualize the project. However, it is possible to join a group already in competition.

The contest is structured in three phases, with the grand finale taking place in June.

The challenge Campus 2030 is in line with the mission of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, being one of the University’s priorities the development of strategies that promote sustainability on its 4 campi.

What is your vision to help build a more sustainable future for universities? Participate in this challenge and reveal your Campus 2030.
