2 Católica students awarded Rodrigo Guimarães Scholarships

Two Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics students received study scholarships from the Rodrigo Guimarães Institute for the 2023/2024 academic year, under the partnership signed with Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP).

"When we reflect on our academic career and our life as students, we find several moments that we can consider 'lucky'. For me, the Rodrigo Guimarães scholarship was just that: my lucky moment. It was the moment that allowed me to continue my studies, more precisely my Double Degree in Norway." shares Carolina Mateus da Silva, 21, a Master's student in Management and one of the scholarship holders chosen by the Institute.

About the scholarship, she reflects: "not only has it given me the opportunity to give something back to my parents, but it has also motivated me to continue on a path of academic excellence, so that I can repay everything that has been invested in me."

The second grant was awarded to a CLSBE Economics student for whom it represents " a fundamental support".

These scholarships are aimed at students who demonstrate economic need and have the skills and commitment to make a difference as professionals and citizens of a global community.
The scholarship programme is part of the Rodrigo Guimarães Institute's promotion and promotion of educational and social measures and actions, created in 2022.
