Welcome Session for New Students of the Nursing Degree 2026/27

Nursing School (Porto) is preparing to welcome the new students of the Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and to begin a new chapter in their academic journey.
The Welcome Programme will begin on 3 September at 6:00 p.m., in Auditorium EC024, with the Welcome Session, during which Paulo Alves, Dean of the School of Nursing (Porto), will welcome the new students.
A general welcome session for all new undergraduate students from the faculties of Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto campus will also take place that day. Scheduled for 7:30 p.m. the session will be attended by Isabel Braga da Cruz, Pro-Rector of Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
The programme will continue from 7 to 11 September, with a range of activities focused on introduction, integration, and social interaction, specially designed for the new students. Throughout this week, students will have the opportunity to get to know the School, the teaching staff, their peers, the campus facilities, and academic life, while also beginning to discover the world of Nursing.
