Welcome Session for New Students of the Faculty of Biotechnology 2026/27

The Faculty of Biotechnology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa will promote, on September 3, the reception of the new students of 2026/2027 of the degrees in Bioengineering, Microbiology, Liberal Sciences and Nutrition Sciences.
The welcoming session for new students will take place in the Auditório Arménio Miranda, at 6:00 pm, and will be attended by faculty and technical staff of the college.
A general welcome session for all new undergraduate students from the faculties of Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto campus will also take place that day.
Scheduled for 7:30 p.m. the session will be attended by Isabel Braga da Cruz, Pro-Rector of Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
The welcome programme runs from 3 to 10 September and includes a range of welcome and integration activities, providing new students with their first introduction to the University and the Faculty of Biotechnology, its teaching and laboratory facilities, student support services and academic life.
