Meeting of His Holiness With University Students

Universidade Católica Portuguesa will receive the visit of Pope Francis on August 3, at 9 am, for the Meeting with University Students.

At this meeting, the Holy Father will listen to the testimonies of refugee students, welcomed by the University, and students involved in the implementation of the encyclical Laudato si', the "Global Compact on Education" and the initiative "The Economy of Francesco". This will be followed by a speech by His Holiness, prayer and the blessing of the first stone of the new campus, Campus Veritati, which will be located on the north side of the UCP headquarters in Lisbon.
