Católica provides charging stations for electric vehicles in Lisbon, Porto and Braga

You can now charge your electric vehicle on the Lisbon, Porto and Braga campi, through a partnership established with Mota-Engil Renewing.

For that purpose, four electric charging stations were installed in each location, integrated in the national electric mobility supply network (MOBI.E):

  • On the Lisbon campus, 4 22kw/hour charging stations at the entrance of the outdoor parking;
  • On the Porto campus, 2 charging posts of 22kw/hour in the faculty car park and 2 charging posts of 11kw/hour, on level -1 of the Restoration Building car park;
  • On the Braga campus, 4 charging points of 11kw/hour, in the park at the entrance of the campus.

Charging must be done as usual. The rate granted by Mota-Engil Renewing to UCP is competitive in the context of the national electricity market and MOBI.E. This rate is available at each station and varies according to the charging time: more time charging means a higher final price. You must keep your car at the station only for the time strictly necessary, giving the possibility of charging other vehicles.

All questions related to electric charging may be clarified through 800 020 940, a call centre available 24 hours/day.

This initiative, framed within the sustainability strategy of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (CASUS - Católica for Sustainability), results from a partnership with Mota-Engil Renewing.

Together for the protection of the planet!
