Ursula von de Leyen discusses the European Commission future in the State of the Union speech
On September 14, 2022, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, will deliver her third State of the Union address, by which she will take stock of the objectives achieved to date, taking the opportunity to announce her future strategy for the preparation of the Commission's work program for 2023.
This is a watershed moment for our Union. We cannot take our security and the protection of people for granted. We have to stand up for it. We have to invest in it. We have to carry our fair share of the responsibility.
