Universidade Católica promotes session on employability of people with disabilities

On 7 July, a training session on promoting the employability of people with disabilities was held for the Careers Offices at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. The initiative was organised by the Social Responsibility Office, in partnership with the Human Resources Office, and hosted by the VALOR T IES - Talent and Transformation team.

The main objectives of the session were to present the Valor T platform, which focuses on valuing talent, to raise awareness of the challenges and opportunities of integrating people with disabilities into the labour market, and to identify forms of collaboration that can support the professional integration of Católica graduates registered on the platform.

With the participation of 36 employees from the Careers Offices of Católica's four campi- Lisbon, Porto, Braga and Viseu - the session was a moment of reflection and sharing on inclusion practices in the context of employability.

This action is part of the Universidade Católica's commitment to building a fairer, more inclusive society that is attentive to the diversity of its graduates, and is aligned with the objectives of its Strategic Development Plan.
