UCP participates in EXPO Dubai

Universidade Católica Portuguesa was represented at EXPO Dubai by the Vice-Rector for internationalization, Isabel Vasconcelos, who participated, on November 18, in an event within the scope of SACRU – Strategic Alliance of Catholic Research Universities.

The event, titled “SACRU Alliance: an innovative model of university cooperation inspired by human solidarity”, was promoted by Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, one of the alliance’s founding members.

Isabel Vasconcelos shared the stage with Pier Sandro Cocconcelli, SACRU Secretary-General, from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Lilian Ferrer, from Pontificia Universidad Catòlica de Chile, Carlo Gallucci, from Universitat Ramon Llull, and Chris Riley, from Australian Catholic University.

The discussion ranged from topics such as internationalization, knowledge promotion and solidarity – the common value that binds these universities together.

The talk was followed by a networking event for SACRU members and their respective alumni. Listen to the interventions here.
