SACRU participates in the Laudato Si’ Global Alliance meeting
Isabel Capeloa Gil, President of Universidade Católica Portuguesa and President of SACRU, and representatives from Boston College, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, and Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro participated in the Laudato Si’ Global Alliance meeting, organised by the Dicastery for Integral Development and the Just Transformation Institute at the University of Notre Dame. The meeting took place at Borgo Laudato Si’, in Castel Gandolfo.
The Laudato Si’ Global Alliance brings together universities and higher education institutions with the aim of promoting awareness, education, research and action in the field of integral ecology, strengthening collaboration between academic institutions engaged in these areas.
During the meeting, Isabel Capeloa Gil presented the pioneering Doctoral Programme in Integral Ecology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, as well as the results and report of the working group on integral ecology developed within the scope of SACRU.
