Rector of UCP visits SalivaTec team

SalivaTec received the visit of Isabel Capeloa Gil, Rector of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, who met SalivaTec's team and ongoing projects.

The CoVTec, Proteger+ and FAST projects involve partnerships with hospitals and companies in the area of digital technologies and involve solutions within the scope of COVID-19 diagnosis and clinical decision support. The OeHMP project aims to build an innovative platform for teaching, clinical intervention and research in Dental Medicine, on the way to supporting Precision Dental Medicine in Viseu.

The certification of SalivaTec for the COVID-19 tests and its integration in the national network of laboratories is a cause of great satisfaction for the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and the SalivaTec team, as it is the achievement of what drives this team - doing research with and for the community.

This visit took place within the framework of the presentation of the UCP Strategic Development Plan for 2021-2025: "The value of values: creating future in the present".
