The Universidad de Alicante (UA) and the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, as part of the Transform4Europe Alliance (T4EU), have launched a joint call for visiting professors.

In the context of this call, the selected professors will participate in teaching activities at the two partner universities, with a focus on digital transformation and smart regions, environmental sustainability and social transformation. This opportunity is aimed at distinguished academics with teaching and research experience. Academic excellence, innovative teaching skills and an orientation towards social transformation will be valued.

The stay can last between 4 days and 1 month at each institution, and can be spread over different academic semesters. The visits will take place during the autumn semester of 2024/2025, throughout the academic year 2025/2026, or in the spring semester of 2026/2027. The costs of travelling, accommodation and meals will be funded by the UA and Católica.

Those interested should submit an online application by July 15, including a detailed CV in English, a work plan, a proposal for collaboration with the Alliance, proof of institutional links and letters of invitation from the host universities.

For more information contact t4eu@ucp.pt and infot4europe@ua.es.

This invitation is part of the Alliance's mission to train knowledge entrepreneurs capable of driving transformation in sustainable and resilient European societies.

This initiative aims to strengthen academic collaboration and consolidate the European Education Area by promoting the mobility of excellent academics from outside the Alliance.
