Open Call – Transform4Europe (T4EU) Chair Programme for the 2026/2027 academic year

Applications for the Transform4Europe (T4EU) Chair Programme for the academic years 2026 and 2027 are now open.

Under this initiative, lecturers and researchers from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and other partner universities of the T4EU Alliance have the opportunity to teach, participate in innovative teaching activities and establish partnerships for research projects at any of the universities.

Applications are open to the academic community of partner institutions working in areas aligned with the Alliance’s strategic priorities:

  • Societal transformation, community building and inclusion;
  • Digital transformation and smart regions;
  • Environmental Transformation and sustainability.

Applications will be assessed in accordance with the eligibility criteria, conditions and requirements set out in the relevant call for applications. Interested parties should consult the specific conditions established by each Alliance university.

Before submitting an application, it is recommended that applicants identify and make prior contact with a lecturer or academic supervisor in their field of interest at their intended host university, in order to ensure that the proposal aligns with the institution’s priorities and needs.

Applicants must submit their application via the online form provided for this purpose by 30 June.
