Open applications for UCP refugee scholarship programme

From June 22 to July 6, the applications to the Universidade Católica Portuguesa's refugee scholarship programme are open. This programme is aimed for students in a situation of humanitarian emergency, with documentation issued by the Portuguese Immigration and Borders Service (SEF).

Through this programme, 24 vacancies will be opened for 17 bachelor degrees in Lisbon, Porto, Braga and Viseu, with tuition fee exemption. The selection process for candidates with approved documentation includes interviews that take place from July 11 to 15.

To apply for this programme, candidates should follow these steps:

  • Get to know Católica's courses here.
  • Check your SEF document;
  • Have your ID handy;
  • Prepare your high school diploma and final exam certificate, translated into Portuguese or English;
  • Organize your Curriculum Vitae.
  • If you are an undergraduate student: Prepare your transcript of records, translated into Portuguese or English.
  • Apply via the link.

The programme is part of the national effort to welcome and integrate refugees and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) proposed by the United Nations.
