Mariupol & Katowice: A Dialogue on Cooperation and the Future

In the twenty-third episode of the Transform4Europe "Reach Out” podcast, Małgorzata Myśliwiec, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and coordinator of the Transform4Europe at the University of Silesia, is joined by Tetiana Marena, Acting Rector of Mariupol State University.

The conversation focuses on future plans for cooperation between the partner universities, activities within the Transform4Europe alliance, and building relationships across borders, within the T4EU alliance.

Recently, University of Silesia hosted Tetiana Marena for an official visit to Katowice which provided an opportunity to discuss future directions for cooperation between the two institutions.

The conversation focused on developing joint initiatives in education and research, as well as exploring opportunities within the Transform4Europe framework. Both sides emphasized the importance of building strong, sustainable academic partnerships that transcend borders and respond to current social and educational challenges.

This meeting marks another step toward deepening cooperation between the universitites, reinforcing shared values of openness, solidarity, and collaboration at the heart of the Transform4Europe alliance.
