Margarida Mano awarded SPA Medal of Honour

Margarida Mano, Vice-Rector of the Universidade Católica, was awarded the Medal of Honour of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Autores (SPA) at a ceremony marking the institution's centenary.

The celebration of the SPA's 100th anniversary took place on 22 May in the Carlos Paredes Gallery, and included a special cultural session in which various personalities and institutions of importance in culture and public life in Portugal were honoured.

The award of the Medal of Honour to Margarida Mano was in recognition of her significant contribution to the academic and institutional world.

‘This medal touches me deeply. It's an award that gives me great hope that everything we do can have a positive impact, even when we don't realise it,’ said Margarida Mano during the ceremony.
