Lyon Catholic University visits Universidade Católica Portuguesa

The Universidade Católica Portuguesa welcomed the Lyon Catholic University at its headquarters on March 1st for an institutional visit. At this meeting, Isabel Capeloa Gil, President of the Universidade Católica, and her counterpart from the University of Lyon, Olivier Artus, discussed the future of cooperation between the two universities.

In this visit, the Rector of Lyon Catholic University was accompanied by Franck Violet, Head of International Affairs of the same university, and met with the President of Universidade Católica, the Vice-Rectors, Peter Hanenberg, Isabel Vasconcelos and José Manuel Pereira Almeida, and the Director of Global Engagement of Católica, Francisco Mendes-Palma.

Also present were representatives of international relations from several faculties of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, who discussed possibilities for future cooperation. In addition to the meeting, there was time to visit the headquarters of the University, Palma de Cima campus.

This meeting also served to strengthen relations between the two universities, as well as reinforcing the relationship at the multilateral level, within the framework of the Federation of European Catholic Universities, of which both are members.
