Isabel Capeloa Gil makes institutional visit to Universidad Católica de Colombia

The President of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and President of the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU), Isabel Capeloa Gil, visited the Universidad Católica de Colombia, in Bogotá, on 27 January, reinforcing her commitment to international academic cooperation. 

During the visit, Isabel Capeloa Gil met with Francisco Gómez Ortiz, Rector of the Universidad Católica de Colombia, Idaly Barreto, Academic Vice-Rector, Patricia Serrano Esguerra, Director of the International and Interinstitutional Relations Office, and Gabriel José Angulo Linero, Academic Director of Virtual Education. 

The meeting represented a significant step towards identifying new opportunities for collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in the areas of law, economics and psychology. Mobility issues were also discussed in the context of academic mobility and co-tutoring programmes

Since 2022, the Universidad Católica de Colombia has been part of the IFCU Administrative Committee, working in close partnership with Catholic higher education institutions around the world to strengthen education and research from a global perspective. 

This visit reinforces the Universidade Católica Portuguesa's commitment to internationalisation and academic excellence, contributing to the strengthening of scientific and educational cooperation networks at a global level.
