Intervention in the Historical Archive of the Parish of S. Lourenço ongoing at the School of Arts

Work is currently underway at the Conservation and Restoration Workshops on the collection of the Parish Archives of St. Lawrence - Macau.

The work is being carried out under the technical and scientific guidance of Adriana Ferreira, guest lecturer at the School of Arts - Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and focuses on 33 books dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, which include records of baptisms, marriages, and deaths. These records are an essential source of knowledge about the social, religious, and genealogical history of the community, reflecting its evolution over several generations.

The main objective of the ongoing intervention is to ensure the physical and informational preservation of this collection.
