FCH received 160 students on virtual OpenDay

On May 27, the students from the 10th to 12th grade had their first contact with the areas of study of Faculdade de Ciências Humanas (FCH), also meeting the Dean and coordinators of each FCH course and heard the testimony of current students. The five degrees of Faculdade de Ciências Humanas were presented in online sessions, taking place at Zoom, throughout the day starting with the Applied Foreign Languages course (10h30), followed by Social Service (12h00), Social and Cultural Communication (14h30), Psychology (16h00) and ending with Philosophy (18h30).

At a time when the teaching activity takes place at a distance, secondary school students had the opportunity to make virtual contact with the academic reality, clarify all the doubts about access, get to know the programmes of each course, the professional outings and the internship and international mobility programmes of FCH.

"It was a very positive experience that allowed us to make the Faculty known and to answer the questions and concerns of future students. The enthusiasm of the candidates was contagious throughout the day, which allows us to foresee that we will have a very motivated group of new students next year," stressed Prof. Nelson Ribeiro, director of FCH.

If you did not have the opportunity to participate in the FCH OpenDay'20, you can clarify your doubts by e-mail licenciaturasfch@fch.lisboa.ucp.pt or by phone 21 721 42 93.
