Faculty of Human Sciences Christmas Campaign 2019
"FCH Solidária – O Outro em Nós" invites us to celebrate the Advent together and to think of those who are least fortunate. This year, their Christmas campaign will revert to the Jesuit Refugee Service.
With the theme "Make a wish", in this campaign we intend to adorn the Christmas tree of the Faculty and thus help those in need. Collaborating is simple:
- Buy a bottle and a color card for 3 € in the Communication and Marketing Office (Floor 3);
- Write a wish on the card;
- Put the card in the bottle and this on the tree.

Margarida Abreu Award
The Faculty of Human Sciences will honor the legacy of Margarida Abreu, a social worker and distinguished professor, by establishing the Margarida Abreu Award, which aims to support, on an annual basis starting in the 2026/2027 academic year, one student entering the Undergraduate Degree in Social Work whose life story demonstrates exceptional resilience, the ability to overcome challenges, and a commitment to the values of social work.
