Eduardo Duque publishes new work

Eduardo Duque, professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences, Braga Regional Centre, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, launched the book: " Values and Religiosity in Portugal. Behaviours and Generational Attitudes".

The work is the result of the continued study of the different waves of the European Values Survey, particularly regarding the analysis of the religious dimension. The author had already analysed and published on the two previous waves, that of 1990 and that of 2008, so this book focuses on the data referring to 2020.

"If the main reason for this publication is to understand the way Portuguese society positions itself in relation to the religious dimension, this study can be considered as an x-ray of its religiosity, insofar as it discusses religious self-identification, belonging to a religion, the dominant religious matrix, attendance to religious services and its evaluative, creedal and institutional dimension."
