Centro de Investigação Biomédica da Católica recebe classificação de “Excelente” pela Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia

The Católica Biomedical Research Centre (CBR), a research unit of the Católica Medical School, has been classified as ‘Excellent’ in the most recent evaluation by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).

This recognition highlights the scientific quality, impact, and innovative capacity of the CBR, which conducts interdisciplinary research in the fields of biomedicine, biology, and complex systems, with a focus on fundamental and translational research aimed at advancing human health.

Established in 2022, CBR is part of the Católica - Luz Clinical Academic Center — a CBR – Católica Medical School partnership with Hospital da Luz Lisboa and the Union of Portuguese Misericórdias — promoting integration between research, education, and clinical practice.
