Católica Porto Business School opens applications for new PhD in Management

From 2 December to 31 March, applications are being accepted for the first edition of the new PhD in Management at Católica Porto Business School, recently approved by A3ES for six years, unconditionally.

The new cycle of studies, scheduled to begin in 2026/27, reinforces the school's commitment to advanced research in management and responds to the growing demand for scientific training capable of generating relevant knowledge for companies, institutions, and society.

The PhD is aimed at candidates interested in developing rigorous and impactful research, whether for academic advancement or for strategic roles in organisations. The programme offers close scientific supervision, integration into projects and links to international networks.

Applications will be made online and include the submission of the usual documents and a preliminary research proposal. All information on requirements and procedures is available and can be found here.

With this new doctoral programme, the school reinforces its mission to train researchers and professionals capable of contributing to more informed, innovative and future-oriented management.
