Católica opens new phase of applications for PhD in Integral Ecology

The PhD in Integral Ecology launched by the Faculty of Human Sciences in association with the School of Arts (Porto), the Faculty of Biotechnology (Porto), the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences (Braga), the Católica Medical School (Lisbon), Faculty of LawInstitute for Political Studies and the Faculty of Theology (Lisbon) of Universidade Católica Portuguesa opens applications for the new phase from 24 June to 2 September 2024.

With the aim of providing adequate ethical responses to global challenges, the program will address subjects such as culture and environmental sustainability, intergenerational justice, the green economy and the fight against systemic poverty and economic growth and sustainability, for example, which are framed in three central seminars: Ecological Citizenship, Environmental Ecology and Ecological Spirituality.

As an interdisciplinary program, lecturers from different Schools of the UCP will be involved.
