Call for Researchers: International Seminar “Cultural Heritage and Digital Tools”

Université Jean Monnet is organizing “From Traces to Heritage?”, which will take place from 3 to 5 February 2026 in Saint-Étienne, within the framework of Transform4Europe.

The three day event will include a regional workshop on sustainable heritage and the 4th International Seminar “Cultural Heritage and Digital Tools", in which Universidade Católica Portuguesa’s researchers and PhD students are invited to present their research.

This seminar brings together ten researchers from various disciplines and universities to present (20 minutes each) and discuss their work at the intersection of cultural heritage and digital technologies. It explores the use of digital tools (including geomatics, 3D modeling, sound reconstruction, and other innovative methods) for the study, preservation, and management of cultural heritage.

Academics from Universidade Católica may submit their presentation proposals to pierre.olivier.mazagol@univ-st-etienne.fr before November 30th 23h59.

Programmes from previous editions are available on the seminar website, and the final programme will be announced in early December.
